Nestled between Lake Ogleton and the Chesapeake Bay, the community of Annapolis Roads features winding roads with wooded lots and an abundance of protected green space and water. Amenities include a community children’s playground next to a grassy overlook with a spectacular view of the Chesapeake and the Bay Bridge; a community beach; and an easily accessible boat ramp.

 

In 1926, the original community was planned in the tradition of Frederick Law Olmstead – the Father of Landscape Architecture – who pioneered the use of green and open space in community design and whose numerous high-profile projects include the US Capitol and New York’s Central Park. ARPOA is dedicated to preserving this original community vision.
